The Town of Thompson owns two parks, Lake Ida (newly purchased) and the Town of Thompson Park. The Lake Ida property was purchased in 2017 and is currently in the process of being developed for the public. However, this property is currently NOT open to the public. Members of the public are able to rent the community building and pole barn for a fee. The community building can hold up to 52 people, while the pole barn can hold up to 125 people. If you are interested in renting these facilities please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 845-796-3606.
*Please note that the pool is for the Y.M.C.A summer camp use only and there are restrictions on the park while the summer camp is in operation. See below for more information on the summer camp.
