The Town was awarded $10,000 from the County Plans and Progress Grant Program to make improvements to Dillon Park. Owned and operated by the Village of Monticello the Park is just outside the Village limits. These improvements include removing and replacing existing fencing at the entrance and around the pool, fixing the deck and railings, and replacing the picnic tables and benches. However, we still need volunteers to help us make additional enhancements to Dillon Park so that community members can have a place this summer to enjoy fishing, swimming, picnics, basketball and other outdoor recreational activities.
