There are still spots available for child/ren to attend Thompson’s YMCA Summer Camp, held at East Mongaup River Park, and now non-residents can register as well this year. So if your child is enrolled, but a friend or family member has expressed interested in YMCA Summer Camp…encourage them to register ASAP!

ABOUT SUMMER CAMP: The Town of Thompson YMCA Summer Camp runs daily from 8:30 am until 5 pm, July 1st through August 16th. Camp is open to children ages 5-14 (must have turned 5 by December 1st, 2023). Note: No camp on July 4th, 2024.

HOW TO REGISTER: 

Fill out and print the 2024 Form for YMCA Summer Camp in Thompson and bring it with you along with the following items: 

You must bring full payment (cash, credit card, check or money order) and a copy of your child’s current immunization records.

Register any weekday between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in the Town Supervisor’s office at the Town Hall 4052 Route 42 in Monticello.

The cost is $350 per child if the child is a Town resident. The cost for non-residents is $1,000. Early Drop Off is available at 7:30 am for an additional $130 per child. These fees are to be paid directly to the Town of Thompson when registering.

PLEASE NOTE: The Early Drop Off fee of $130 must be paid directly to the Middletown YMCA. 

If you are a Town resident, you must show proof of Thompson residency. Proof of residency items include current utility or sanitation bill, tax bill, mortgage statement, printed rent receipt, report card, or letter from school.

Registration is limited to the first 225 children – first come, first serve!

*If you plan to use a credit card to pay, there is a 2.65% processing fee.
