With winter in full swing, the Town of Thompson and Holiday Mountain have brought back the popular “town ski night” – now featuring snowtubing and snowboarding and called “Thursday Night Lights.” Every Thursday night from 5-9 pm, Town residents can enjoy lower rates on winter activities at Holiday Mountain. Residents must simply show an ID with a Thompson address to enjoy the deals, which include:

  • $14 lift tickets | $14 lessons | $14 ski rentals | $22 snowboard rentals
  • Snowtubing sessions are $14 per person | 4-6 pm or 6-8 pm | must be at least 42” tall
  • Details: Make reservations in advance, wear mask at all times, no outside food/drink in cafeteria

Thursday Night Lights comes at the ideal time when many residents are seeking safe, socially distanced activities at reasonable rates. At the same time, participating in Thursday Night Lights gives community members the opportunity to support a local company during the pandemic, which has hit many businesses hard.

Town of Thompson Supervisor Bill Rieber wants those new to winter sports to know that even when there’s no snow on the ground, Holiday Mountain makes their own snow – so all winter activities are going on right now at the Mountain. However, in the event of severe weather, contact Holiday Mountain to see if they’ve closed to keep people safe.

“We’re excited to offer Town residents a night of safe, family fun – at a great price. It’s a wonderful chance to get outdoors and get active, all while supporting a wonderful family-owned business in our Town,” concluded Rieber.
