Town Residents: There’s still time to register your child/ren for YMCA Summer Camp, held at East Mongaup River Park! However, registration will officially close on June 3rd. Register between May 20th and June 3rd, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in the Town Supervisor’s office at the Town Hall 4052 Route 42 in Monticello. Follow the instructions below to register.
Non-Town Residents: Get on the YMCA camp waitlist between May 20th and June 3rd! After June 3rd, the Town will contact those on the waitlist in the order in which the application has been dropped off – until camp is full. It is a first come, first served process so get on the waitlist as soon as you can (on May 20th or after). NOTE: The fee for non-residents is $1,000 for the entire summer camp. To get on the waitlist, simply fill out the 2024 Form for YMCA Summer Camp in Thompson and bring it with you between May 20th and June 3rd, 9:00 am until 4:00 pm in the Town Supervisor’s office at the Town Hall 4052 Route 42 in Monticello.
ABOUT SUMMER CAMP: The Town of Thompson YMCA Summer Camp runs daily from 8:30 am until 5 pm, July 1st through August 16th. Camp is open to children ages 5-14 (must have turned 5 by December 1st, 2023). Note: No camp on July 4th, 2024.
Fill out and print the 2024 Form for YMCA Summer Camp in Thompson and bring it with you along with the following items:
If your child is a Town resident, to register you must bring a copy of your child’s current immunization records and proof of Thompson residency. Proof of residency items include current utility or sanitation bill, tax bill, mortgage statement, printed rent receipt, report card, or letter from school. Registration must be paid in full. The cost is $350 per child if the child is a Town resident. The cost for non-residents is $1,000. Early Drop Off is available at 7:30 am for an additional $130 per child so your total due on registration day would be $480 if your child is a Town resident or $1,130 if your child is not a resident.
Registration is limited to the first 225 children – first come, first serve!
*If you plan to use a credit card to pay, there is a 2.65% processing fee.
