It’s Back for 2022…Thursday Night Lights! Town of Thompson and Holiday Mountain have once again teamed up for a “town ski night” – featuring snowtubing and snowboarding. Starting Thursday, January 13th – and continuing every Thursday thereafter (weather permitting) Town residents can enjoy lower rates on winter activities at Holiday Mountain from 5-9pm. Residents must simply show an ID with a Thompson address to enjoy the deals, which include:

  • $17 lift tickets | $17 ski rentals | $22 snowboard rentals
  • Snowtubing sessions are $17 per person | 4-6 pm or 6-8 pm | must be at least 42” tall
  • Details: Make reservations in advance, no outside food/drink in cafeteria, wear masks inside the ski chalet

Thursday Night Lights comes at the ideal time when many residents are seeking fun, family-friendly activities at reasonable rates. At the same time, participating in Thursday Night Lights gives community members the opportunity to support a local business: Holiday Mountain.

Town of Thompson Supervisor Bill Rieber wants those new to winter sports to know that even when there’s no snow on the ground, Holiday Mountain often makes their own snow. Also, in the event of severe weather, Holiday Mountain will close to keep people safe. To inquire if Holiday Mountain is open or not for Thursday Night Lights, call ahead at 845-796-3161.

“We’re excited to offer Town residents a night of safe, family fun – at a great price. It’s a wonderful chance to get outdoors and get active, all while supporting a wonderful family-owned business in our Town,” concluded Rieber.
