Over the past few years, Thompson has embarked on a mission to ensure the Town looks its best – starting at the gateways to our community. Entrances, roundabouts, and roadways into our Town have been redesigned to include: new signage, strategic lighting, attractive gardens, hanging baskets and now, beautiful banners featuring artwork created by 26 Thompson residents! This summer, Thompson invited residents of all ages to submit art. At least one piece was selected from each artist, and now dozens of banners are being displayed throughout Thompson. Look for them on the roadways and entrances along the Route 42 corridor, East Broadway, Route 17B, and the I-86 Interchange 105. Read the full press release, here!
