Information Related to Thompson Sewer Upgrades
Commencing in 2022, the Town of Thompson is upgrading two of its five municipally-owned and -operated Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs). For information on the upgrades for the Kiamesha Lake WWTP and the Emerald Green WWTP click on the link below.
About the Thompson Water & Sewer Department
The Water & Sewer Department is responsible for the maintenance of the various water and sewer district plants throughout the town.
The following separate districts are maintained in the Town of Thompson:
- Adelaar Sewer District
- Consolidated Harris Sewer District
- Consolidated Kiamesha Sewer District
- Consolidated Rock Hill/Emerald Green Sewer District
- Melody Lake Sewer District
- Sackett Lake Sewer District
- Adelaar Water District
- Cold Spring Water District
- Dillon Farms Water District
- Lucky Lake Water District
- Melody Lake Acres Water District
- Route 42 Water District
The Town will enforce its law for the benefit of all district users.
