About the YMCA Summer Camp
The Y.M.C.A of Middletown is contracted to operate the Town of Thompson summer camp at East Mongaup River Park (formerly Town of Thompson Park). The summer camp operates Monday – Friday in July and August. While the summer camp is in operation, certain portions of the park are closed to the public, per NYS regulations, including the playground area, restrooms, community building and pole barn. However, the public can still access a secondary BBQ area and the hiking trails.
