Winter is in full swing, and the snow is falling. It’s time to plan ahead for Thursday Night Lights, when Thompson youth can ski and snowboard for FREE!

As soon as Holiday Mountain opens, the Town plans to continue our popular Thursday Night Lights program. Because this program is so popular, space is limited and pre-registration is required. Read on for all the details on how to register:

  • Youth age 5-18 who reside in Thompson and pre-register can ski or snowboard for free at Holiday Mountain in Monticello until all spots have been reserved.
  • As long as weather permits, the program runs on Thursdays once Holiday Mountain opens for the season, from 4-9pm.
  • Equipment rentals are included free of charge. Lessons cost extra. Youth who are beginner skiers or snowboarders must be accompanied by an adult.
  • To reserve your child’s spot, they must be enrolled in the free Thompson Youth Program. Fill out the enrollment form, here.
  • You must reserve the day/s your child plans to attend in advance by contacting Jamie Ferriero at Town of Thompson Parks & Rec. Dept. at 845-434-7303 or email [email protected] for more info.
