Attention Emerald Green Residents
The Town is starting sewer system replacement and upgrades in the Bristol, Avon, Stratford, Manchester area on Tuesday morning. The contractor will hand deliver notices to individual homeowners who may be affected. Please be careful around work sites and contractor’s equipment for your safety.
Construction activities will start at 7:00 AM, particularly since days are getting progressively shorter this time of year.
This is an approximately $3.0 million dollar project to reduce groundwater infiltration which overwhelms the plant during wet weather occurrences. We have obtained up to $787,500 in grant funding to do this improvement.
